Wayanad (വയനാട് )
Our First anniversary celebration at Wayanad This was the first week of March. And we decide to celebrate our anniversary at wayanand as we heard a lot about this place. After some research we decided to book Green Gates hotel near wayanad and listed out places to visit which are as shown below. Below are my tips for this trip : 1. Never visit wayanad in summer (Nobody mentioned about this in any of the blog or may be i overlooked it). It was scorching heat and very dry. 2. We stayed in the hotel, but staying in resort like Vythiri would be better. 3. Finding veg food is little tough as most of the hotels server only non veg. 4. Remember, you need walk atleast a kilometer to visit each of the places. Ex : Kuruva islands, sochipara falls and so on. If you strong and willing to walk, then wayanad will be a good place for you. 5. At each place you will get masala butter milk, lemon juice. Try those. It is awesome specially during summer. Try masala soda too... Walking for a kilometer ...
