Bhadra River Backwater (Mar 15th 2010)

Here is the view of the Bharda River backwaters. We took special permission and visited the dam. It was huge and the view was breathtaking..... We couldn't take the dam pics due to security reasons (Terrorist Threat and so on).

By the way, this place is called Lakkavalli dam and you can also plan for Jungle Lodges' River Tern Lodge

My Wife's Grand father who is 94 years younger and stronger.

We travelled from shimoga to reach this place. The road is very bad. If you come from Bhadravathi, the route seems to be good. To tell you more about, i stumbled upon a blog who has provided greater details about this place.
